Who handles it
EmThy relies on these services. Each gets only what it needs for its job.
- Supabase (United States): Database, sign-in and file storage. Everything listed above is kept here.
- Vercel (United States): Runs the app, and counts visits and page speed anonymously.
- OpenAI: Writes EmThy’s replies. Your message and the context EmThy needs (recent conversation, what it remembers about you, attachments) travel to OpenAI through a gateway server the developer runs.
- OpenRouter: A backup when the main model is slow or failing. It passes requests to AI providers such as OpenAI and Moonshot AI.
- A server the developer runs: Turns memories into search fingerprints so EmThy can find the relevant ones.
- Langfuse (European Union): Records each conversation turn, including its content, so the developer can find and fix problems.
- Redis Cloud (United States): Keeps a short-lived copy of today’s chat so it loads faster, and counts requests to stop abuse.
- Resend: Delivers emails the developer sends you.
- Google: Only if you sign in with Google.
AI providers handle data under their own terms.
How it’s used
- To reply to you and remember context across days.
- To fix bugs and improve EmThy. The developer can see stored data, and reads logs and conversation traces to do this.
- To email you about your account. The developer may also email you now and then, for example to ask how EmThy is working for you. Reply “stop” and it won’t happen again.
- EmThy has no ads and doesn’t sell your data.
Your controls
- Memories: You → Memory journal shows what EmThy remembers. Edit or delete any item.

- Share cards: Revoke a card on the Card page at any time, and its link stops working.
- Web search: Switch it off in the + menu in the message box.
- Your account: To delete your account and everything in it, or to get a copy of your data, email nobita2x123@gmail.com. Deleted data can stay in backups and logs for a short time.
